Mario Levesque On Sunday June 23, 2014 - Hope Search and Rescue complete their Road Rescue Rope Embankment course. The course included: Friday night introduction to the course and paperwork, Saturday and Sunday were 10 hour days, a mix of morning theory and afternoon field work. We cover all the base line rope skills on Saturday, which covers most of the JI SAR dual rope systems for low angle and steep angle rescue. On Sunday we continue to improve on the rope systems by adding Capstan winch system and the use of MPD systems. We all pass a written exam at end of day Sunday. Thank you to our Rescue Canada instructor.
