At 5:20pm on Tuesday August 5, 2014, Hope SAR was called by BCAS for water rescue, request Mutual Aid from Chilliwack SAR swiftwater team as two individuals and a dog were in the water in the canyon by Tunnel #1, arrived on scene, perform a recce, secure the area, briefed Chilliwack SAR on arrival, Chilliwack Team set-up raft, retrieve casualties, checked by BCAS and HSAR was release from scene, return to base.
